“Like other analytic blogs, I have developed a habit of thinking – perhaps too much – about the underlying mechanics of anime. So essentially I like to be pretentious about something as silly as anime. It’s like calisthenics in rhetoric – or at least I see my writing style to embody such a viewpoint. Carrying over and modifying the categorization style from wordpress, I organize posts/articles into several main categories: (1) analysis, (2) anime by title, (3) music, (4) miscellaneous.”
