Hello, Santiago!
It has been some weeks since I first came to this city… this is actually the second time around and the travel is a little bit more eventful compared to the first one when I was only with two more from our team.
During my first visit, I was able to check out the airports of Bangkok and Charles de Gaulle. In Bangkok, a little game started. We spotted some look-alikes and we started counting them. One of these look-alikes was the wrestler, former champion, Hulk Hogan. There was a younger person with him who might have been his son. We passed by the pair several times to check how uncanny the similarities were, but of course, non of us really had the guts to just come up to either one of them and ask. Neither did we get a chance to snap a picture for future reference.
We boarded our plane and proceeded to the next leg of our journey. While at the Air France lounge in Charles de Gaulle, I happened to have spotted twins and they struck as another pair of look-alikes. This time, the two looked almost like the Caten twins of Dsquared2. A few days prior to our trip, they were in Singapore with the Kaulitz twins for a fashion show, so it was a big possibility. Who knows??? Add to that, the Cannes festival was during the week that we were travelling. I took a snapshot, well, I may just be dreaming but what the heck!? As I said, they were look-alikes or maybe not. I just seem to think so.

In our look-alike hunting, we saw another one in CDG. It was one of the two other members of our team who noticed. He was telling me to check out the lady because she looks so much like Mariah Carey. Guess what!?? This time, it was not just a look alike, but the lady herself right there at the lounge sitting a few tables away from where we were sitting at.
Since I have been dead bored of waiting for our flight, I didn’t have the brains enough to take out my phone or camera to have a little snapshot of the diva, with me. She said hi in response to my greeting. She was so sweet. Not so tall, but, she seemed to have gained weight. Still, she was purrrty. After she left to board her flight, I was back being dead bored waiting for the 18 hour lay over to be over. Then, we finally boarded. The trip wasn’t as eventful as this one that I had just a couple of weeks ago, which I would probably write about in my next entry.
